OzForex ranked in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2010 for the fourth time
Deloitte Technology Australian Fast 50 - 19 Nov 2010For the fourth year, OzForex Foreign Exchange Services has proven their capacity for growth and excellence and made it into the Top 50 of Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 Australia 2010. This year on number 20, OzForex's concept of providing fast, secure and simple services to over 100,000 customers worldwide shows that outstanding customer service, low fees and competitive exchange rates can go a long way. OzForex was founded in April 1998 by Matthew Gilmour. Mr Gilmour recognised a need to provide better foreign exchange pricing and servicing to individuals and small corporate customers. OzForex has achieved impressive growth ever since and was an Australian Technology Fast 50 winner in 2005 and 2006. In June 2007, Macquarie Bank purchased a 51% stake in the company and with this solid backing, the company has continued to grow both domestically and internationally. 2009 was another record year for the company and it has been recognised as a winner in the Deloitte Technology Australian Fast 50 and Deloitte Technology Asia Pac Fast 500 categories. The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Australia 2010 is a program that recognises and profiles fast growing technology companies. The program, which is now a decade old in Australia, ranks the 50 fastest growing public or private technology companies, based on percentage revenue growth over three years (2008 to 2010).
